ONE IN FOUR CHILDREN
LIVES IN POVERTY - WE’RE WORKING HARD TO CHANGE THAT
THE ISSUE
Around the world, children are disproportionately affected by poverty.
The world’s children deserve better
Ending the cycle of poverty begins with investing in children. Providing quality education, where they are taught by well-trained and motivated teachers in classrooms equipped with proper learning materials, is one of the most significant investments we can make in their future. Education is key to ending poverty and increasing a child's chances for a happy and healthy life. It is also a human right that fosters social development, gender equality, and higher incomes. Despite considerable progress, 100 million children still lack access to education, with the majority of them being girls.
